Will Pretorian track me all day?
No. You decide when a protected journey or alert begins. When it ends, the temporary sharing ends too. Pretorian is built for specific moments, not permanent monitoring.
What if my trusted contact does not have the app?
They can open a secure, read-only temporary link in any browser. It gives access only to the active journey or alert and expires when sharing ends.
What if the phone is taken or destroyed?
A phone can always be switched off or damaged. Pretorian’s realistic promise is that each encrypted segment already received remains protected, even if the recording stops afterwards.
What can my circle actually see?
Only the information connected to the protection you started: for example the active journey, its status, temporary position, ETA or an SOS alert. Your everyday location stays private.
Does Pretorian automatically contact the police?
Not in the first version. Alerts go to the trusted contacts you select. Verified response-service integrations may be introduced country by country.
What happens when there is no network?
Encrypted segments wait temporarily on the phone and upload when the connection returns. Anything already secured remains available.
